1. CASAGiN
1.1 Who we are
CASAGiN is an ambitious and innovative project for those seeking a sustainable and conscious lifestyle, where they can find products capable of transmitting well-being and harmony, for the health of the body and the Earth. We make underwear and clothing in natural and eco-sustainable fabrics. We follow ethical production and each of our articles tells something about us: the love for our local community, Made in Italy.
Our little choices:
100% production - Made in Italy - Italian certified fabrics - Sustainability at the core - Hypoallergenic natural materials
Here at CASAGiN we are convinced that small choices can make the difference and everything is possible if done with love and awareness.
Wellbeing, sustainable.
1.2 Our mission
At CASAGiN we are dedicated to your well-being and the well-being of the environment and community for a more harmonious life.
Our fibres
1.3 Our materials
One of the most important parts of creating a product that is in harmony with nature is choosing sustainable raw materials. In the case of CASAGiN underwear and clothing, these are the fibers used to make our fabrics. We choose eco-compatible certified fibres, natural or recycled, to guarantee compliance with high standards of health, safety, respect for human rights and environmental protection.

1.4 Healthy tissues for the body
Zero harmful chemicals
The dyeing process is one of the most dangerous and invasive processes in the textile industry, and many dyes contain carcinogens and heavy metals such as nickel, formaldehyde and mercury. It is the process of manufacturing a more harmful fabric and in many countries there are still no regulations regulating it.
Italian certifications, safety and quality
We have decided to dye our fabrics exclusively in Italy under the strictest controls, choosing only certified textile dyers that share our sustainability and health standards.
All our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified as free of harmful substances.
2. Our 2022 impact
Only through the choice of raw materials, in 2022 we were able to save:
17,500,000 l of water
3,479 kg of CO2
33,700 m2 of land
2.1 Sustainable forests
The management of the forests used to obtain the fibers we use occurs in a sustainable way: the trees do not require artificial irrigation to grow and this system also stabilizes the water balance. Every year this system allows us to grow 10 thousand cubic meters of wood more than what is taken. Furthermore, the forests are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified.
+ 10 thousand cubic meters of wood
2.2 Reduction of transport emissions
Production at km70
Our Made in Italy includes the entire value chain, from the yarn to the final product
All the products in our lines are made in Italy: from the thread to the final product. The laboratories with which we collaborate are at a maximum distance of 70 km from our headquarters, between Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trentino and Lombardy. This allows us to significantly reduce CO2 emissions compared to companies with production abroad, which have to transport raw materials and finished products from one continent to another.
To ship our products we use recyclable cardboard packaging via couriers that offset the CO2 emissions emitted.
2.3 Support from the local community
We support Made in Italy
Have you ever thought how many people are involved in the production process of a single item of clothing? How many families are supported thanks to the Made in Italy fashion production chain?
Every part of our production process takes place in small businesses, often family-run, where the work of each individual person is valued and where craftsmanship is still considered art.
2.4 Responsible production
Continuous collections
A minimalist style that is never out of fashion. At CASAGiN we believe in slow fashion that does not require new collections every month and is not influenced by the trends and rhythms of fast fashion.
No overproduction
Local production at 70 km allows us to drastically reduce production lead time. This allows us to produce in small quantities and eliminate overproduction. Producing in small quantities increases the price and therefore reduces our margin but we are convinced that it is the right path towards truly sustainable fashion.
Capsule collections
For the clothing collections we opted for capsule collections with very small quantities to avoid waste. We sold out after a few weeks, thus giving up some revenue but also avoiding the overproduction of items outside of our core underwear business.
Pre-order
This year too we worked with the pre-order for the clothing capsule collections. We offered a 10% discount to our customers, giving them the opportunity to pre-purchase our sweatshirts which were shipped as soon as they were ready, after 2 weeks.
2.5 Packaging
100% plastic free & Made in Italy
Everything we produce is packaged without using plastic: in fact we use an innovative, completely biodegradable corn starch sachet with TUV Austria certification; a further step forward to contribute to solving the economic and environmental problem of fossil fuels and greenhouse gases.
Green shipping
In 2022 we decided to apply the waybill directly to our paper envelope, eliminating the protective plastic and replacing it with paper adhesive tape. The last step to make the packaging 100% green and biodegradable. A risky step that we did not regret.
2.6 Size inclusiveness
Size range up to Italian 52
Even the design of an item of clothing can convey a feeling of well-being. Each piece of CASAGiN underwear and clothing is designed to emphasize each silhouette in the most comfortable way possible. We incorporated open seams that stretch with the movement of your body and chose only the softest materials that hug you without constricting. In 2022 we have and are still constantly expanding our size range up to size XXL which fits an Italian 52.

2.7 The power of sharing
For us, 2022 was the year of sharing, a journey towards a more sustainable and conscious 360° lifestyle. In 2022 we participated in almost 10 fairs throughout Italy to share our values and meet many beautiful people. Furthermore, we organized an inclusive shooting where every woman could experience the feeling of being a model for a day and feel at ease in her own body. 2022 was the year we decided to spread our message beyond the borders of Italy. An international community, with more than 80 stores in Italy and abroad, united by the desire to dedicate themselves to their own well-being and the well-being of the planet.
3.1 Make our commitment official
3. 2023 our goals
The Certified B Corporation certification certifies that the company is committed to and is having a positive social and environmental impact, measuring the entire impact of a company. We aim for an inclusive, fair, regenerative and sustainable economy at 360°.
Finally this year we decided to make our mission and our values official on an international scale. Obtaining B Corporation certification with a high score will be one of our most important goals to achieve in the coming months.
3.2 Support the international community
Despite having a very small impact compared to many other clothing companies, all of our activities, as a company and as human beings, produce CO2. From our website, to shipping (which is mostly already compensated), from production to our office.
Climate neutrality 2025
Achieving climate neutrality has always been in our goals since day one and this year we are ready to take the next steps to impact our earth less and less. Climate neutrality expresses the concept of a state in which human activities, in our case of a company, produce no net effect on the climate system.
3.3 Continue to reduce the virgin elastomer
Recycled elastomer
Elastomer or elastane is an essential fiber for underwear because it makes them elastic, enveloping and comfortable for every silhouette. Unfortunately, most of the elastomer on the market still comes from virgin raw materials. We have already managed to incorporate recycled elastomer into our lace fabric but we are focusing on changing the composition in other fabrics too.
Italian innovation
We are always looking for innovative, strictly Italian fabrics and we are in close contact with textile companies to try to further reduce the use of virgin elastomer in fabrics.
3.4 Return to paper
Packaging of individual products
Our sachet with which we package our individual products is 100% biodegradable and made of corn starch. But unfortunately the Italian system is not yet able to dispose of it in the right way as other countries such as Germany, our second largest market, already do. For this reason, for now and until standards change in Italy we have decided, once our supplies have run out, to return to paper.
2022 = 90% Corn Starch - 10% Paper
2023 = 30% Corn Starch - 70% Recycled Paper
